Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VibeCheck code review platform operated by Askraa LLC ("Askraa," "we," "us," or "our") at askraa.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

VibeCheck is an AI-assisted and human-reviewed code review platform. Our Service combines automated AI analysis with expert human review to provide comprehensive code quality assessments. You can submit code for review by connecting a GitHub repository or uploading a ZIP file. Reviews evaluate your code across multiple dimensions including security, performance, code quality, best practices, architecture, and dependencies.

Review findings are advisory in nature and are intended to help improve your code quality. They do not constitute a guarantee that your code is free of bugs, security vulnerabilities, or other issues.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using an email address and password, Google OAuth, or a magic link. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

3. Subscription Plans and Credits

3.1 Subscription Tiers

The Service operates on a credit-based system with the following subscription plans:

  • Basic Plan — $99 per month
  • Pro Plan — $199 per month

Each subscription plan includes a monthly allotment of review credits. Details of credit amounts and included features are available on our pricing page.

3.2 One-Time Credit Packs

In addition to subscription plans, you may purchase one-time credit packs. Credits from one-time purchases do not expire as long as your account remains active.

3.3 Billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

3.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at hello@askraa.ai. We reserve the right to grant or deny refund requests at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit malicious code, malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm systems or individuals
  • Submit code that you do not have the right to share or have reviewed
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Abuse, harass, or threaten other users or our staff
  • Circumvent any credit or usage limitations
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Code

You retain all ownership rights to the code you submit for review. By submitting code to the Service, you grant Askraa a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access, process, and analyze your code solely for the purpose of performing the requested code review. We do not claim any ownership rights over your code.

5.2 Review Results

Review results, scores, and reports generated by the Service are provided to you for your use. Askraa retains the right to use aggregated, anonymized data derived from reviews to improve the Service.

5.3 Service Content

The Service, including its design, features, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is the property of Askraa LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASKRAA LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

ASKRAA'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ASKRAA FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Code review findings are advisory only and do not constitute a guarantee or warranty regarding the quality, security, or functionality of your code. You are solely responsible for your code and any decisions made based on review results.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ASKRAA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Askraa LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
  • Engagement in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
